Recently, Shanghai Wuyue Pump & Valve Group successfully completed the production of a batch of customized magnetic multistage pumps and delivered them to the customer. The delivered equipment consists of 10 MDQX-type magnetic multistage pumps, specifically designed for methanol transport processes on ships.

According to reports, these magnetic pumps feature a rated pressure of 40 MPa, a head of 130 meters, and a flow range of 0.5 to 3 cubic meters per hour. The pumps are constructed from highly corrosion-resistant 316L stainless steel and are equipped with a 2.2 kW power drive system. Their design prioritizes the safety and stability of methanol transportation by incorporating a leak-free magnetic drive technology, which eliminates the leakage risks associated with traditional mechanical seals and enhances operational reliability.

As per the procurement contract, these 10 magnetic multistage pumps will be integrated into the customer’s ship system to undertake critical methanol transport tasks.
